This section describes how to discover middleware resources using RDA.
Currently, the following middleware types are supported: Redis, Kafka, and RocketMQ. Redis and Kafka middleware can be discovered by platform discovery and manual addition. RocketMQ middleware can be discovered only through platform discovery.

After a middleware is added to RDA, you can perform the following operations:
In the middleware list, locate a middleware and view the status icon in the Status column.
, the resource discovery is successful. You can click the middleware name to view details about the collected middleware details.
, the resource discovery fails.Hover over
in the middleware status column and view the failure cause.
If multiple middleware resources use the same credential, you can associate the credential to these resources at the same time.
This function is available only for Redis and Kafka middleware.
After handling the discovery failure, select the middleware and choose Actions > Rediscover in the upper left corner to rediscover the middleware.
If you add a large number of middleware to RDA, you can tag them for more efficient management and search.
If no tags meet your requirements, click
and create a tag by referring to Tag Management.
On the Middleware page, you can enter search criteria in the search box to quickly search for middleware resources.
