This section describes how to discover platform resource using RDA.
Currently, the following cloud platforms are supported:

This parameter is available only when you select Public cloud for Type. Select the types of the resources to be discovered, including servers, containers, middleware, databases, networks, and storage. You can select multiple resource types at a time. |

AK/SK: Enter the AK and SK for accessing the source cloud platform. |
Username/Password: Enter the username and password for logging in to the source cloud platform or VMware environment. |

View the added platform in the list. The system automatically checks the credential binding status and discovers resources on the platform.
After a platform is added to RDA, you can perform the following operations:
In the platform list, locate an added platform and view the status icon in the Status column.
, the discovery succeeds. Click the data in the Discovered Resources column to view the resource details.
, the discovery fails.Hover over
and view the failure cause.
To modify a bound credential, perform the following steps:

A message is displayed, indicating that the regions are added successfully. You can view the added region in the list.
After handling the discovery failure cause or modifying the credential, select the platform and choose Actions > Rediscover in the upper left corner to rediscover the platform resources.

If you add multiple platforms to RDA, you can tag them for more efficient management and search.

If no tags meet your requirements, click
and create a tag by referring to Tag Management.

On the Platforms page, you can enter search criteria in the search box to quickly search for platform resources.
