How Do I Create a Linux Image and Obtain the Image ID?

  1. Download the agent image files LinuxAgent.zhvd and LinuxServer.zhvd required for Linux migration.
  2. Upload LinuxServer.zvhd and LinuxAgent.zvhd to an OBS bucket and use them to create private images on Image Management Service (IMS).
  3. Log in to the IMS console and click Create Image in the upper right corner of the page. On the displayed page, select Import Image for Type and System disk image for Image Type, and select an image file from the OBS bucket you used in the previous step.

You need to create two images using each of the LinuxServer.zvhd and LinuxAgent.zvhd image files.
